History

In october of 2009 new gastronomic winds came to Alicante. Nothing of this happened by chance, but by determination of José Antonio Sánchez when he applied everything he learned from education and the greatest chefs of Spain to the traditional Alicante cuisine, authentic Spanish recipes and products, philosophy of life and the stile of cooking that is reflected in Els Vents fancy restaurant.

After the 8 years long journey during which he was recognized by professional critics and by those who find joy in food, Els Vents opens its doors in June of 2017. It has found its home in Alicante city center in order to show its urge to form part of Alicante society and to introduce its unique understanding of traditional Alicante cuisine.

The objective of its new design of facilities is simply to let people go through gastronomic experiences.
